Manga Appearances
Kate makes a cameo for a panel as she purchases a Drip Fruit from the disguised Paul. He is attracted to her and nearly spoke to her in a rude way.
Kate witnesses the argument between Lee and Paul in the streets and approaches them to politely ask them to stop. Paul's attraction to Kate makes him leave but as he bumps Lee's shoulder, causing her to get mad, Kate holds her back because "he's not worth the trouble". Kate offers to escort Lee back to her home in case he comes back and she accepts. While outside of Lee's house, Fiona finds Kate, annoyed that she is late for the meet-up.
After Lee and Fiona greet each other with animosity, Kate steps in to try to get the two girls on the right track but neither one of them are interested in a friendly interaction and Fiona wisks Kate away by the wrist.
The next day, Kate finds Lee in the streets and calls out to her. She apologises for her friend's bad behaviour and asks if Lee would like to have some tea but it was actually a ploy to get the two girls together again in hopes to start again. Kate makes some topic suggestions to kick things off but her words are met with silence followed by more bickering. She keeps making attempts to stop the girls from being mean to each other and therefore gets mad and has an angry outburst at the two.
Lee and Fiona quiet down which lets Kate quickly compose herself then finally manages to convince the two to give a friendship a chance and walk with them back to the cul-de-sac.
