Chapter 4- Paul #1:

After coming back from school to sort his stuff out, he leaves right away and reminded by his mum, Denise, that the family are going to the market that evening but Paul said he'll make his own way there. Paul thinks about his plan to sell at the same market after he makes his harvest of a rare fruit up in the mountains and promptly makes his way there.

Paul walks a couple hours to the secret spot he knows a Drip Fruit bush is growing on the side of a cliff. The harvest operation includes him abseiling on the cliffside with a simple rope. Paul lands safely on the bush, picking the fruits he set up a defence for to scare birds and catch flies in cobwebs.

At a slight distance, another bush is growing out of the cliffside. Paul went to swing over until he mistakenly leaned forward too much, dropping a good chunk of his stock and having them splat on the ground. Paul pulled himself back up to the ground, frustrated with his blunder, he abseils again to the bush to reclaim the lost merchandise with the newer fruit.

A seagull comes over to Paul, staring at him after taking all the fruits for himself. He cannot stand the look the bird is giving him so he gives the seagull the smallest fruit to the critter's delight. Paul watched as the seagull was able to contain the burst of the Drip Fruit in it's mouth. The seagull flies away, leaving Paul feel worse about his situation. He hastily climbs up the cliff and rushes to the market before his family shows up.

At the Local Market, Paul (in disguise) sets up his table, laying out the fruits and gemstones he has collected. Mere seconds after finishing, a customer purchases a Drip Fruit from him. Kate approaches Paul as a customer, purchasing a Drip Fruit. Customer after customer turns up and in no time, he already sells out of the Drip Fruits that he has harvested moments before. Since the Drip Fruits have sold out, customers have stopped looking at his table and Paul gets pretty bored before his mum and dad show up. Alexander asks about the Drip Fruits but Paul states that there are none left, sending the family on there way but as he saved one for himself, Paul decides to sell it to his own dad slightly more than the selling price. Now that Paul sold the last of the valuable merchandise, Paul lost his good feeling.

A lady approaches his table, inquiring about the gemstones on the table. Paul explains what they are in hopes to sell one but the lady laughs at Paul for selling "shiny rocks". Embarrassed, Paul packs up his table and takes off his disguise to meet up with the family again.

Alexander shouts to Paul as he's approaching the gate and scolds him for not meeting up like promised however, Paul ignores him and walks past. Denise sees that Paul has messy hair thanks to the mask (unbeknownst to her) and tidies Paul's hair to his dismay and hugs him which only makes him more mad.

Back at the family house, everyone puts that stuff away, Paul putting his rucksack upstairs and coming back down immediately. Alexander prepares the Drip Fruit to serve to Paul and Jerry. Paul sees that Alexander is going to cut into the fruit, he tries to caution him but the warning fell on deaf ears. Seeing the half full cups of juice, Paul decides to let Jerry enjoy the remainder of the Drip Fruit and head up to bed. After Jerry reacts in disgust to the juice, Paul's frustration grows.

Paul reflects on the previous day, wondering what bad karma got to him. He recalls seeing a strange mountain range in the distance while abseiling though during his thinking, Paul sees Lee and the two stop dead in their tracks as they stare menacingly at each other.

Chapter 5- Lee #1:

Picking up from the end of Chapter 4, Paul is silently glaring at Lee until she broke the silence by yelling at him for supposedly following her. Paul's feeble attempts at rationalising his presence in his own home street does not quell Lee's madness, especially for calling her crazy. Paul and Lee have a loud argument in the middle of the street though when Kate intervened by politely asking them to stop, Paul is flustered by her beauty and leaves before bumping Lee's shoulder, making her livid in the process.
