Chapter 2- Rustler #1:

Rustler hosts another successful concert in a quaint, countryside village, the area looks nice so he takes the younger kids for a tour around the town wearing his disguise alter ego: Frizzle. A tour guide advertises hiking tours nearby and Rustler is intrigued about the grand view at the top of the highest hill. No one else wants to go on a tour with him so Rustler goes on his own, waving goodbye as he gets in the shuttle vehicle.

On the way there, Rustler talks to two other hikers about where he's going, they ask if he's going to Verdi Hill too, Rustler replies that he's going to the hill with "tough" wildlife and the other hikers are dumbfounded that he's going to Cobali Hill without doing any research and simply tell him to be careful. Rustler immediately strays off the main path and heads straight up the hill.

The cute wild animals amaze Rustler though a canine creature lurking behind him scare off the small animals to Rustler's disappointment. He climbs up a waterfall only to be immediately attacks by a Quassera Buzzard but the canine creature from earlier steps in and bites the buzzard''s wing and Rustler helps by kneeing it in the head, scaring it off. The celebration is cut short when Rustler and the canine look at each other, determining what the other will do but the wolf walks away.

The hike resumes with a shadowy figure lurking behind Rustler as he turns his attention to a sparkly object from above when out of nowhere, a wolf bit his elbow and goes on the offensive. Rustler does not want to fight the animal but it leaves him no choice to defend himself and his custom-made bag. The day wolf from earlier barks at Rustler which gives him the idea to scale the rocky wall and out of the night wolf's reach. Rustler's weight causes the little rock he can grab to snap off and fall back down in front of the night wolf only to have a giant chunk of the cliff tumble down seconds after, landing on where Rustler is and the tree falls on top too. Rustler retreats into his shell which is trapped under the boulder, too heavy to simply push out the way. Using as much strength as he can muster, Rustler eventually pushes the boulder out enough to free himself and jump out of the momentary gap. Rustler remembers that he was looking at a shiny object before the scuffle and finds a strange fruit that looks like it's made of crystals. The patrol team calls out to Rustler and ask if he's OK after they heard the boulder fall at a distance, he says that he's OK but then the patrol team recognised Rustler and becomes star-struck at his presence. They offer to help Rustler to the top but due to the heavy boulder taking all his energy, he instead asks to be guided back down and they happily oblige.

Chapter 3- Eagle Beagle #1
Rustler is shown getting into the shuttle at the beginning of the manga before showing Eagle Beagle's side of the story. He is absent for most of the story until showing up again at the end where he talks to Eagle Beagle about what happened during his time in the mountains, giving his brother words of encouragement as well as off-handedly asking for help looking for a gym to go to.
